According to reporters from Tin Tuc and Dan Toc newspaper, many streets around Ba Dinh Square were filled with people since the morning of August 29 to reserve seats; bringing drinks, chairs, and national flags, waiting to watch the parades pass by.

The parade force includes 4 honor guard units, 43 units representing the people's armed forces, foreign military delegations from Russia, Laos, Cambodia, China; artillery, military equipment, special police vehicles; 12 mass parade units and 1 Culture - Sports unit.
