In the world market, Robusta coffee prices on the London floor increased sharply today. Specifically, the September 2025 term traded at 4,040 USD/ton, up 2.72% compared to the previous trading session.

Similarly, at the New York exchange, the price of Arabica coffee futures for September 2025 delivery increased sharply by 0.56% (1.8 US cents/pound), to 321.4 US cents/pound.

Domestic and international coffee prices are experiencing an unprecedented surge. The main reasons are scarce supply, low inventory, high transportation costs and global trade factors. This has pushed coffee prices to record levels, putting great pressure on roasters and consumers.

In addition, a 50% tax on Brazilian coffee has pushed up Robusta prices even further.
