On June 21, 1925, Thanh Nien newspaper - the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association founded by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc published its first issue, marking the birth of Vietnam's revolutionary press. On February 5, 1985, the Central Party Secretariat issued Decision No. 52-QD/TW, officially choosing June 21 every year as Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
Throughout the glorious 100-year journey, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has always accompanied the nation and the country, worthy of being the core force, the pioneer on the ideological and cultural front. The revolutionary press has made great contributions to the cause of fighting for national independence, as well as in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country. The past century has been a journey of the Vietnamese revolutionary press constantly serving the Fatherland, serving the people, and deeply attached to the revolutionary cause of the Party.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, on June 19 in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Journalists Association , and Vietnam Post Corporation jointly organized a special issuance ceremony of the postage stamp set "Commemorating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925-2025)."
The event was held within the framework of the activities of the National Press Festival 2025, co-organized by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism .
The postage stamp set "Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925-2025)" includes 01 sample with a face value of 4,000 VND, size 43 x 32 mm designed by artist Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post Corporation).

With a modern, concise graphic design style and harmonious layout, the stamp set deeply expresses the meaning of the connection between tradition and modernity, paying tribute to the past and looking towards the future.
The central image of the stamp is the red flag with a yellow star fluttering along with the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh - the great teacher of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism. The image of the flagpole is a pen - the symbol of journalism, cleverly combined with characters in the binary system (0 and 1) showing the sharpness, innovation, especially the strong digital transformation process of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism that is catching up with the development of the times.
In addition, the stamp also shows typical newspapers associated with each revolutionary period such as Thanh Nien newspaper, Nhan Dan newspaper, and Communist magazine to highlight the depth of tradition and development of Vietnam's revolutionary press.

The stamp set is not only a postal product but also a spiritual symbol to encourage and motivate journalists in carrying out their political tasks and developing modern, humane journalism. At the same time, this is also a gift of deep gratitude to generations of Vietnamese journalists who have always strived and devoted themselves to serving the Fatherland and the people.
The postage stamp set "Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925-2025)" is provided on the public postal network maintained and managed by Vietnam Post from June 19, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
