Navy and border guards show gratitude on the occasion of July 27

On the morning of July 24, the Naval Region 2 Command coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to organize working delegations to visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in the military area on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

In Long Son commune (HCMC), the Regional Command coordinated with the commune government to organize 4 working delegations to visit and present gifts to 20 policy families. The delegation led by Colonel Do Hong Duyen, Deputy Political Commissar of the Region, and comrade Nguyen Tan Cuong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Long Son commune, directly visited, encouraged and presented gifts to 6 policy families in the area.

Agencies and units in the entire region have closely coordinated with localities to organize many activities to care for policy beneficiaries: Visiting and delivering gifts from the Head of the Navy to 3 families of People's Armed Forces Heroes, 12 relatives of martyrs, 1 family of a soldier who is proposing to be recognized as a martyr in 2025 and 2 families of soldiers with serious illnesses, with a total support amount of 36 million VND.

The whole region organized the presentation of 45 gifts to families of soldiers in difficult circumstances with a total value of 29 million VND, coordinated with local authorities to visit and present 85 gifts to families of war invalids, martyrs, and meritorious people in the stationed area, with a total value of more than 55.3 million VND...

On the same morning, at the Cau Co May Martyrs' Memorial, Border Guard Squadron 18 - Border Guard attended the incense and flower offering ceremony of the leaders of Phuoc Thang Ward, Ho Chi Minh City and the Liaison Committee of the 3rd Sao Vang Division to commemorate the heroic martyrs.
