Ministry of Public Security starts another project to build housing for the People's Public Security Armed Forces

(Chinhphu.vn) - The project on Le Trong Tan Street, Duong Noi Ward, Hanoi City has a land use scale of more than 11,000 m2, including the construction of 3 blocks of 30-storey social housing projects, with about 1,056 apartments, providing accommodation for about 2,500 people.

On August 18, the Ministry of Public Security held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Housing Construction Project for the People's Public Security Armed Forces at plot 6.2, planning area S4, Duong Noi ward, Hanoi city.

This is a meaningful project, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces, contributing to solving the housing needs of police officers and soldiers in Hanoi .

The Government, the Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Construction are promoting the development of social housing nationwide; by 2030, Hanoi must complete 100,000 social housing apartments, including housing for the People's Public Security Forces.

Since the beginning of 2025, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee have had working sessions on housing development for the People's Public Security Forces in Hanoi. Departments, branches and localities under the Hanoi People's Committee have actively coordinated and urgently advised the Hanoi People's Committee to have a document agreeing with the Ministry of Public Security to arrange many land plots/projects to develop housing for the People's Public Security Forces in Hanoi and complete procedures to start construction of 3 housing projects for the People's Public Security Forces on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day.

The investment project to build housing for the People's Public Security Forces at plot 6.2, under the S4 subdivision planning, Le Trong Tan street, Duong Noi ward, Hanoi city, has a land use scale of more than 11,000 m2, including the construction of 3 blocks of 30-storey social housing projects, with about 1,056 apartments, providing accommodation for about 2,500 people.

Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, said that recently, implementing the Government's direction as well as stemming from the urgent need for housing for officers and soldiers, the Ministry of Public Security has closely coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee and agencies, units and localities to start two housing construction projects for the People's Public Security Forces in Khuong Dinh Ward, Hanoi City and in Thanh Liet Ward. The housing construction project for the People's Public Security Forces in Duong Noi Ward is the third project to start construction in August 2025.

Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc suggested that the investor focus resources, means, and intelligence to urgently implement construction immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony; continue to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to implement advanced construction measures and solutions, aiming to complete the project to ensure technical quality, aesthetics, progress, etc.

At the same time, it is requested that departments, branches, sectors and local authorities continue to accompany and closely coordinate with investors to complete the project in accordance with regulations.
