Synchronous and methodical from the preparation stage
Up to now, the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census has proactively and comprehensively deployed the preparation steps. From June 10 to 12, the Provincial Steering Committee completed professional training for core forces. After that, districts, towns and cities continued to train each investigator and supervisor at the grassroots level. All were carefully instructed on the investigation plan, information collection process, installation and use of CAPI software on electronic devices to fill out the survey form, ensuring accuracy, speed and data security.

Investigation Procedures Guide
According to the plan, from July 1, together with the whole country, Binh Thuan province (old) will launch the collection of information for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in nearly 1,500 areas with the participation of more than 1,600 investigators and supervisors at all levels. This is a strong force, carefully selected and intensively trained, ensuring a firm grasp of the process, methods and complex contents of the survey. The synchronous participation of the political system from the province to the grassroots level shows the great determination of the province in ensuring the success of this important event.
Mr. Pham Quoc Hung - Head of Binh Thuan Provincial Statistics Office said: "This General Census is not only a periodic statistical task that stops at simply collecting statistical data, but also an opportunity to collect comprehensive data, serving to assess the current situation and orient the development of agriculture and rural areas in a modern and sustainable direction. The province has completed all preparations and is ready to implement the General Census with the highest sense of responsibility."
Goals are not just numbers
Compared to previous surveys, the 2025 Census has a broader scope of content, fully reflecting key areas of rural areas. The information collected will cover many aspects: Land size, number of crops, livestock, level of application of science and technology, digital transformation in agricultural production. In particular, it will provide a detailed view of the structural shift, economic efficiency and challenges that farmers and fishermen are facing. Reflecting living conditions, housing, income, access to basic social services such as health, education, clean water and environmental sanitation. This is an important basis for assessing the effectiveness of national target programs, especially the new rural development program. The current status of rural transport systems, irrigation, electricity, communications and emerging environmental issues in rural areas.

The results from the Census will be an indispensable source of good data for managers and policy makers of Binh Thuan province.
Mr. Hung added: In order for nearly 1,500 survey areas to be completed on schedule and with quality, the role of the people is especially important. The cooperation, active participation and provision of honest and accurate information from households, farms, businesses and people in the province are decisive factors. Each piece of information provided is not only an obligation but also a right, contributing to building an authentic general picture. That is the basis for the State to formulate policies and invest in development in accordance with the needs and interests of the people themselves.
With careful and methodical preparation, a large force and a high determination, we believe that Binh Thuan will successfully complete the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census. The survey results create a comprehensive and reliable data set, paving the way for a new development stage of agriculture, farmers and rural areas in the province towards modernity, efficiency and sustainability.
