The Vietnamese women's volleyball team lost 0-4 to Spain in a friendly match held today at Dong Anh Stadium (Hanoi) to prepare for the world championship.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet raised his hand to score number 1 Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen in the starting lineup of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team when facing the world's 32nd ranked team Spain. The Spanish women's volleyball team has a physical advantage.

With their physical advantage and good attacking serve ability, the Spanish hitters made it difficult for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team right from the first step, making it impossible to launch a "smooth" attack. In addition, the absence of Bich Tuyen also caused the Vietnamese team to lack effective high-level attacks. Bich Tuyen was sent onto the field at the end of the first set, but the opponent had deepened the gap so the Vietnamese team could not turn the tide, losing 22/25.

The Spanish players continued to play better in the second set, maintaining an overwhelming attack against the home team. Bich Tuyen was also not in the best playing condition, so the Vietnamese team lost 18/25.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's adjustments in game 3 could not help the Vietnamese women's volleyball team change the situation because the Spanish team's hitters still maintained a stable playing state, especially promoting the effectiveness of their serves, thereby taking the initiative in the attack. Thanks to that, the Spanish team won 25/20 in game 3.

Due to the nature of the friendly match, the coaching staff of both teams agreed that the match would be played over 4 games. In game 4, the world-ranked 32nd team Spain still played more effectively, winning 25/24, closing out the overall victory with a score of 4-0.
