Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien holds the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

(GLO)- On June 17, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1177/QD-TTg to transfer, assign and appoint comrade Ho Van Nien, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions. The term of appointment is 5 years.

Comrade Ho Van Nien was born on October 15, 1975, his hometown is Yang Bac commune, Dak Po district. He joined the Party on August 31, 2000. He has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Political Theory.

The decision takes effect from July 1, 2025.

Under the leadership of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Van Nien, Gia Lai province has achieved positive results in all areas. In particular, the total annual budget revenue exceeded the plan,education targets were met and exceeded, the healthcare network was consolidated, tourism flourished, social security was given attention, and the poverty rate decreased. The arrangement of the political system's apparatus to ensure efficiency and streamlining was given special attention, closely and resolutely.
