Secretary of the British Communist Party impressed by the patriotism of the Vietnamese people

On the afternoon of September 2, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), received Mr. Robert Griffiths, Secretary of the Communist Party of Great Britain, on the occasion of the delegation's visit to attend the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). At the reception, Mr. Griffiths expressed his deep impression of the patriotism and solidarity of the Vietnamese people, considering this a great source of inspiration for the world communist movement.

Speaking at the reception, Secretary of the Communist Party of Great Britain Robert Griffiths expressed his honor to be in Hanoi on such an important occasion for the Vietnamese people. He said that the heroic atmosphere of the parade left deep emotions in him and the members of the delegation. He affirmed that not only the communists in the UK, but also the international communist movement always learns many valuable lessons from the tradition of resilient struggle and solidarity of the Vietnamese people.

Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga reviewed the 80-year journey since President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. She emphasized that the great achievements that Vietnam has made in the cause of national construction and development are thanks to the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the solidarity and persistent efforts of the people, and the wholehearted support and assistance of international friends. In particular, the Communist Party of Great Britain and progressive people in the UK have made important contributions, especially in the two resistance wars against foreign invaders as well as in the cause of national construction and defense today.

She expressed her belief that under the leadership of Secretary Robert Griffiths, the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and States will be increasingly tightened and deepened. This will be the basis for Vietnam to gain more valuable experiences, contributing to the successful implementation of development goals, bringing the country into a new era - an era of prosperous and sustainable development.

Ms. Ha Thi Nga emphasized that with the affection and support of international friends, including the Communist Party of Great Britain, Vietnam will continue to reap new achievements, build an increasingly prosperous country, and bring a prosperous and happy life to the people. She hopes that the two sides will continue to strengthen the exchange of experiences, promote friendly cooperation, and make practical contributions to the revolutionary cause and social progress in each country as well as in the world .
