9-year-old girl and brother lost 33km from home

On April 1, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said that at 3:00 p.m. on March 31, a working group from Ham Yen Traffic Police Station, Traffic Police Department of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, while patrolling and controlling National Highway 2 through Thai Son Commune, Ham Yen District, discovered two lost children.

The boy is Dang Van T. (11 years old), the girl is Dang Thi N. (9 years old), both living in Yen Lam commune, Ham Yen district. According to the police, the location where the two children were found is 33km from their homes.

Through investigation, it is known that T. and her sister left home at 7:00 a.m. on March 31.

The patrol team then reassured and encouraged the two children, took them to Ham Yen Traffic Police Station for food and rest, and gave each child a new set of clothes.

At 4:00 p.m. the same day, the working group contacted and handed over the children to their families.
