Vietnam has a big advantage before the second leg of the semi-final. The AFF has abolished the home-away goal rule. Therefore, Singapore must beat Vietnam by 3 goals to advance. Or, coach Ogura and his team will try to beat their opponents by 2 goals in regulation time and then take the second leg into extra time.
The second leg of the semi-final between Vietnam and Singapore will take place on December 29 at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ).
