The activity is part of the program of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper presenting the Map of Vietnam's Provincial Administrative Units and the Map of Ho Chi Minh City's Commune Administrative Units in 2025 to 168 wards, communes, and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City. Thereby, it aims to help readers access and visualize in more detail the merger of provinces and cities across the country as well as the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Ho Chi Minh City.

Through the program, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper hopes to join hands with localities and cities to best serve the people, as well as strengthen connections and exchanges with 168 wards, communes, and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City.

Previously, as soon as the National Assembly passed the resolution on the arrangement of provincial administrative units in 2025, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper printed 50,200 copies of the Map of Vietnam Provincial Administrative Units as a gift to readers.
