On the morning of June 11, Khanh Hoa Newspaper organized the Award Ceremony of the contest “Nha Trang - Memories and Aspirations”. The writing contest “Nha Trang - Memories and Aspirations” is organized by Khanh Hoa Newspaper in collaboration with Nha Trang City People's Committee on Khanh Hoa Newspaper. The contest takes place from February 3 to November 30, 2024, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the construction and development of Nha Trang City (1924 - 2024) and the 15th anniversary of Nha Trang being recognized as a class I city under Khanh Hoa province (2009 - 2024).

The Organizing Committee received more than 150 entries from authors inside and outside the province. The content of the works is expressed in aspects such as: Recreating beautiful memories of the land and people of Nha Trang; praising the outstanding achievements in the economic , cultural and social fields through the city's 100-year development journey; conveying aspirations for a prosperous, modern, civilized and livable Nha Trang...

The Organizing Committee has selected nearly 50 works that meet the criteria of the contest to be published in Khanh Hoa Newspaper. Among them, there are authors who sent many works sharing multi-dimensional perspectives on Nha Trang City; some articles have truly touched the emotions and feelings of readers. The authors participating in the contest have closely followed the theme, clearly depicting the development journey of Nha Trang. The content of the articles is rich, harmoniously combining historical, cultural elements and future aspirations. In particular, the contest not only attracts authors in the province but also spreads to readers in many other localities across the country with diverse perspectives...

After synthesizing the works, the Jury unanimously selected 11 excellent works of the authors to propose the Organizing Committee to award prizes, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes. The first prize of the contest was awarded to the work "Nha Trang - the city that has not stopped yet" by author Nguyen Vinh Xuong.
