Noni Madueke is Arsenal's fourth signing in the 2025 summer transfer window, showing the Gunners' clear ambition to strengthen their squad.
Before the 23-year-old winger, Arteta had already welcomed Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea, Spanish international Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad and Brentford captain Christian Norgaard.
Madueke ended his time at former club Chelsea in a rather unusual way. He was part of the Blues squad for the FIFA Club World Cup, but left just before the final to complete his move to the Emirates.
The 23-year-old is currently enjoying his summer break after a busy season. Madueke is expected to join up with his new Arsenal teammates at the end of July, after the Gunners have completed their Asian tour. His presence is expected to bring a breath of fresh air to Arteta's attack.
Madueke was born in North London and grew up in the prestigious training centers of Crystal Palace and Tottenham. However, in 2018, Madueke made a bold move when he decided to leave the foggy country to join the Netherlands club PSV Eindhoven.
Here, his talent quickly blossomed when he was promoted to the first team despite being only 17 years old. Madueke made a total of 80 appearances for the Dutch club, making a strong impression with his speed, technique and ability to make a difference.

His impressive form has caught the attention of many big clubs across Europe. In January 2023, Chelsea signed him for £28.5 million.
Now, after nearly 2 years with The Blues with 92 appearances, Madueke returns to North London but in the red and white of Arsenal, promising to bring explosive performances to the Emirates team.
