The conference also heard Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ha Tinh Dau Tung Lam report on press and propaganda activities in the third quarter of 2024, and orientations for propaganda work in the coming time. Specifically: Local press agencies continue to have many innovations, improve operational efficiency, create valuable, high-quality press works, especially works serving the key political tasks of the homeland and country.
Promote propaganda work on concretizing and implementing resolutions of Party congresses at all levels; directives, resolutions, conclusions of the Central and the province; and propaganda on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, foreign affairs, natural disaster prevention, etc., creating a mainstream information flow, positively impacting social life, receiving attention and high appreciation from all walks of life.
Resident press agencies have produced many news and articles promoting key projects, new rural construction, civilized urban areas, major political events taking place in the area, and prominent socio-economic fields; reflecting issues of public concern, contributing to helping Party committees and authorities at all levels grasp and effectively resolve problems arising from the grassroots.
Concluding the meeting, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ha Van Hung, on behalf of the leaders of Ha Tinh province, thanked the contributions of the press agencies, especially for their clear propaganda of major events of the province and the country.
For the event commemorating the 110th birthday of comrade Ly Tu Trong, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that press agencies focus on promoting the life, career, contributions and dedication of the first communist youth union member and generations of Ha Tinh youth. Along with that, highlight the revolutionary tradition of Ha Tinh homeland; outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of the Party Committee, People and youth of the province.
Regarding press work, identifying 2024 as a pivotal year for implementing resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department hopes that press agencies will continue to pay attention to, accompany, and propagate the results of the province's socio-economic tasks.
