Binh Thuan Newspaper forever in the hearts of journalists and Binh Thuan people

Binh Thuan Newspaper, the name associated with Binh Thuan locality, a province located at the end of the Central and the beginning of the East of the South Central and Southeast regions on the S-shaped strip of land, is not unfamiliar to journalists and people across the country.

The newspaper currently has more than 40 cadres and civil servants, mainly new generations following the previous generation to maintain two types of journalism including print and electronic newspapers. Working together in different departments such as Editorial - electronic; reporters; administration - politics... All aim at the goal of providing and conveying information, guidelines and policies of the Party to the people and vice versa. Readers, who always consider the press as indispensable "spiritual food", have seen this on the specialized pages and columns of the electronic newspaper updated 24/24 and the printed newspaper regularly published from Monday to Friday every week.

Newspapers not only have an organizational effect, guide public opinion, disseminate experiences in building and developing the socio -economy of localities, and build a new life, but also act as a history book of Binh Thuan recorded in the most detailed way for long-term reference. They are increasingly loved by readers, especially in recent years, with continuous innovation, improvement, and quality improvement. Many journalistic works do not stop at providing and conveying information but have had profound and effective effects on social life. These are journalistic works that reflect life through basic questions: Who, what, where, when, why, and how, clarifying events from different perspectives. Many journalistic works have encouraged and aroused solidarity and creativity in socio-economic development of localities, contributing to stabilizing social security... attracting the attention of many readers.

To date, the Newspaper marks 49 years of formation and development, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. The Binh Thuan Journalists Association has just held a celebration, with the presence of many Binh Thuan journalists. Everyone was excited and happy, but there was a bit of sadness and emotion at the thought of having to say goodbye to the name Binh Thuan Newspaper.

After merging with Binh Thuan Radio and Television Station, the Newspaper continued to merge with Dak Nong Newspaper and Radio into Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio with a new name: Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio and Television. This came from the fact that Binh Thuan and Dak Nong merged into Lam Dong province with the new name Lam Dong in accordance with the spirit of the Central's resolutions and conclusions on merging administrative units at all levels.

Lam Dong has a population of over 3.3 million people, of which Binh Thuan has over 1.2 million people. There are readers and contributors who have been with the newspaper since the 1990s when the editorial office was still located at 232 Tran Hung Dao, then moved to 04 Ba Trieu and now 335 Vo Van Kiet", such as Ms. Truong Thi Bach Tuyet.

They are familiar with the generations of newspaper owners, who are considered as "chief architects", "conductors", leading the team of leaders, editors, reporters, and employees to carry out the political tasks and missions of the press agency. For example, journalists Chau Van Thu, Tran Thi Thai Hoa, Le Hong Van, Le Huy Toan. Among them, young journalist Le Huy Toan is the generation of Editor-in-Chief who has been under the most pressure because the history of the newspaper's formation and development has entered a new phase, forcing changes to adapt to the team of journalists, if they do not want to be left behind.

Although Binh Thuan Newspaper is no longer around, it will always be in the minds of journalists and the people of Binh Thuan. In the future, journalists of Binh Thuan will return to their new workplaces, continuing to provide and convey information, guidelines and policies of the Party to the people and vice versa. Readers of Binh Thuan holding a newspaper with a different name in their hands is the same as Binh Thuan Newspaper.
