On November 20, the IDF said it had stepped up operations across the Gaza Strip and killed three more Hamas divisional commanders.

Ground and air forces continued to destroy Hamas infrastructure, including tunnels across the Gaza Strip. The IDF also eliminated a group of Palestinian militants hiding in a warehouse with weapons.

In addition, two more Israeli soldiers died in the fighting. Since the conflict broke out on October 7, a total of 387 Israeli soldiers have been killed.

In another development, on November 19, the Palestinian Authority (PA) denied that the Hamas movement was responsible for the deaths of 350 people attending the Re'im music festival on October 7, and affirmed that Israeli helicopters had fired on civilians, causing many casualties.

According to the preliminary investigation results of Israel, when Palestinian gunmen stormed the Re'im music festival on October 7, several police helicopters patrolling nearby detected and opened fire to stop them. However, due to confusion, the fire from the helicopters killed 17 festival attendees.
