Agribank always promptly supports people and businesses
Since the beginning of 2024, Agribank has adjusted the lending interest rate floor three times, in which the short-term lending interest rate has decreased by 0.5% - 1%/year, the medium and long-term lending interest rate has decreased by 1 - 1.5%/year compared to the beginning of the year. Accordingly, the floor interest rate for Agribank's normal short-term loans is only from 5.0%/year, and for medium and long-term loans is only from 7.5%/year. Previously, sharing the difficulties with customers, Agribank supported a direct reduction in lending interest rates for over 1 million existing loans with an estimated support amount of 700 billion VND. In recent times, Agribank has proactively and flexibly provided credit capital for the economy and served production and business activities, focusing on three main growth drivers: consumption, export, investment and prioritizing five key areas including export, agriculture, high technology, small and medium enterprises, and supporting industries. Along with the interest rate reduction policy, Agribank has implemented preferential credit programs with a total scale of VND 220,000 billion for individual customers, SMEs, large enterprises, import-export enterprises, etc. with an average lending interest rate lower by 1% - 2.5%/year compared to the normal interest rate. With the current lending interest rate policy, Agribank continues to convey the message of sharing difficulties, supporting people and businesses to optimize borrowing costs, meeting living needs, promptly supplementing capital sources to restructure operations, serving production and business, contributing to promoting economic growth.Duc Kien
