52 workers are eligible to apply to work in Korea under the EPS Program.

Dak Lak Employment Service Center (under the Department of Home Affairs) has just guided and received 52 applications of qualified workers, registering to work under the employment permit program for foreign workers working in Korea (abbreviated as EPS Program).

These are workers who have passed the first round: computer-based Korean proficiency test (EPS-TOPIK) and the second round: Skill test and assessment of manufacturing and agricultural capacity organized by the Overseas Labor Center in coordination with the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. After the workers register for the recruitment, the Korean company will select them to attend an orientation course and guide them through visa application procedures before leaving the country to work in the manufacturing and agricultural industries, for a period of 4 years and 10 months.

According to statistics, nearly 23,000 workers nationwide have registered to participate in the EPS 2025 program. The EPS 2025 exam selects 3,300 Vietnamese workers to work in Korea, with 3,000 quotas for the manufacturing industry and 300 quotas for the agricultural industry.

Mr. Le Hai Ly, Director of the Center, said that among the programs, labor export under the EPS program is a non-profit program of the Government suitable for workers with difficult economic circumstances; one of the programs to help workers quickly escape poverty sustainably; relatively long participation age (from 18 to under 39 years old), high monthly income (about 39-75 million VND) and increases according to annual salary, working contract period of 4 years and 10 months and the second trip, sent by the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (now the Ministry of Home Affairs ), the cost is only 630 USD/participant, with a deposit at the local Social Policy Bank and received back after completing the contract and returning home.

Dak Lak Provincial Employment Service Center is the only unit in the province assigned to coordinate with the Overseas Labor Center (Ministry of Home Affairs) to implement the program and regularly coordinate with local authorities to organize consultation sessions and propaganda conferences in villages/hamlets in the province to provide complete and timely detailed information of the program to work abroad for people to grasp and choose to register to participate.

It is known that in 2025, Dak Lak province strives to send 2,500 workers abroad to work under contracts; by the end of June 2025, the whole province will have 950 people participating in labor export.
