On the evening of August 28, at the commune's central cultural house, Gia Loc Commune's Culture, Sports and Communications Center coordinated with the Commune Youth Union to organize the first lion and dragon dance festival in 2025.
Participating in the Gia Loc commune lion and dragon dance festival this year, there are 4 lion and dragon dance clubs with about 100 performers, including: Cam Dinh Duong Lion and Dragon Dance Club; Nghiem Quang Pagoda Lion and Dragon Dance Club; Phuc Hung Duong Lion and Dragon Dance Club and Toan Anh Duong Lion and Dragon Dance Club - Anh Tuan martial arts school.
The festival includes 3 lion dance performances: Lion dance on the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness; Lion dance with the theme - Nam Su Dai Pha Tuu Quan; Song Su Hy Tuu performance and Lion dance with the theme of continuing the story of peace.
3 dragon dances with the themes: Thanh Long Doat Chau, Doan Cam Dinh Duong and Golden Dragon declares the song.
Interspersed between the lion and dragon dance performances are traditional martial arts performances and musical performances by club members.
This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, and to welcome the success of the first Gia Loc Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
On this occasion, the Commune Fatherland Front Committee and Gia Loc Commune Youth Union presented 12 gifts to students in difficult circumstances.
