Promote communication and tourism promotion during low season
In recent years, the development of Ninh Binh tourism has contributed to the socio -economic development, creating a driving force for the development of many local industries and fields. The image and tourism brand "Ninh Binh - The beauty of the ancient capital" has been widely promoted to domestic and international tourist markets. Ninh Binh has become a destination for cultural, tourism, festival and music events, thereby attracting a large number of tourists from all over the world, experts, domestic and foreign artists to participate, promoting economic development, expanding exchanges and cooperation.
However, Ninh Binh tourism industry cannot avoid seasonal factors in tourism activities. To stimulate tourism demand in the low season, Ninh Binh tourism industry has focused on promoting the values of local resources, especially cultural and historical values through organizing cultural, sports and tourism events at the provincial level, meeting all the needs of tourists.
Strengthening communication activities, promoting tourism to domestic and international markets, increasing tourism coverage on digital platforms Youtube, Tiktok. Building a Youtube channel to promote Ninh Binh cuisine and tourism, tourism promotion news...
The industry focuses on creating policies to support the development of new tourism products such as: MICE tourism (conference and seminar tourism), experiential tourism, night tourism, concretizing cultural products into tourism products to provide to tourists in accordance with the development orientation of the Cultural Industrial Tourism industry. Participating in domestic and international fairs to connect and connect service providers.
Advise the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee to issue policies to support organizations, individuals and individual households participating in tourism services in the whole province, contributing to the completion of tourism infrastructure, synchronization of tourism facilities, and upgrading service quality. Advise on the development of plans and successful implementation of the annual Ninh Binh Tourism Week to build an annual, unique and attractive tourism product to attract tourists during the low season to Ninh Binh, increase revenue and gradually build the brand "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An".
Ninh Binh Tourism Industry focuses on developing tourism in the direction of high quality, branded, and highly competitive. Therefore, promoting the image of the destination, stimulating domestic tourism demand in all seasons of the year, especially in the low season, is being actively implemented by the Tourism Industry, in order to boost the growth of visitors, attracting more visitors to Ninh Binh.

Need for systematic planning and in-depth investment in coastal tourist areas
The newly formed Ninh Binh province not only expands its administrative space but also opens up a new horizon for tourism. In particular, the special highlight is the nearly 100 km coastline stretching from Cua Day to Cua Ba Lat. This is a rare advantage, helping Ninh Binh from a "landless" locality to now become a coastal province with great potential for developing marine ecotourism, resorts, water sports and community tourism associated with fisheries.
But to turn potential into reality, we cannot rely solely on the efforts of the government. In fact, many tourism businesses in the Association have been proactively taking the initiative, taking a step forward in surveying, proposing and investing in building marine tourism products associated with resorts, ecological experiences and fishermen's culture. Some large businesses have coordinated with coastal localities such as Kim Son, Giao Thuy (old) to propose a symbiotic tourism model, combining tourism and nature conservation in estuaries and mangrove forests. Others are joining hands with international experts to build 2-3 day package tours along the "sea-delta-heritage" axis, helping tourists experience Quat Lam beach, Van Long ecological area and Trang An heritage in one journey.
I think this is the time for the business community to demonstrate its sense of responsibility, not only as beneficiaries of resources but also as co-creators of value, proactively sharing with the government in planning, landscape protection, human resource training and promoting the image of a new Ninh Binh.
However, the problem is that local authorities need to quickly have a systematic plan and in-depth investment in coastal tourist areas such as Thinh Long, Quat Lam (old), associated with the conservation of ecology and indigenous culture. Along with that, there needs to be policies to attract strategic investors to develop high-end resorts, sea tourism ports, and interconnected coastal routes connecting destinations. I believe that if we know how to take advantage of this opportunity in a smart and sustainable way, Ninh Binh tourism will not only escape the "low season loop" but also gradually affirm its role as a national tourist center.

Implement many solutions to attract tourists in low season
In the summer, tourists tend to travel to the beach, resorts, and rarely choose to go to temples, pagodas, and spiritual tourist areas. Faced with this reality, we have researched and implemented many solutions to attract tourists and minimize revenue loss. First of all, the unit has diversified the product system of the tourist area by combining accommodation, food and transportation services into combos with thematic experiences to optimize costs for tourists when choosing a tour program.
Along with that, build and develop summer and autumn-winter experience products to exploit the flow of learning experience customers from students of all levels; combine spiritual tourism with healing activities such as bell meditation, tea meditation, yoga to attract special customers with high spending ability...

Exploiting the potential of Xuan Thuy National Park to develop effective and sustainable ecotourism
Xuan Thuy National Park (NP) is the first Ramsar wetland in Southeast Asia, of international importance for biodiversity, especially migratory birds, and is completing its application to be recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park. Therefore, tourism exploitation must always put conservation goals first, avoiding any activities that may negatively affect the ecosystem and habitat of flora and fauna. Currently, at Xuan Thuy NP, we can focus on exploiting types of ecotourism such as: bird watching, exploring mangrove forests, learning about indigenous cultures and other environmental education activities.
In addition to ecotourism, it is possible to develop community tourism products in the buffer zones of the park, helping people increase their income from providing accommodation services, local culinary specialties such as Giao Thuy spring rolls, Giao Xuan spring rolls, Sa Chau fish sauce, Hoanh Nha fish sauce, jellyfish salad and traditional handicraft products...
However, the development and exploitation of tourism services in Xuan Thuy National Park must always be associated with strict conservation, sustainable exploitation and effective use of regional linkage advantages to create a unique and valuable eco-tourism destination in the new area. To do this, we hope that the province, relevant departments, branches and localities will pay attention to implementing a detailed project on eco-tourism areas, clearly dividing the functional areas of the National Park into separate functional areas: strict conservation areas (harmoniously combining inspection routes and trails, resource control stations to serve eco-tourism), ecological restoration areas, tourist service areas (with control) and buffer zones (developing community tourism).
Identify specific tourist routes and destinations to allow tourism development with minimal impact on sensitive ecosystems. Focus on creating resources to build environmentally friendly infrastructure, natural materials, and architecture in harmony with the landscape. Encourage the development of accommodation, food and beverage services and community tourism products in the buffer zone, reducing pressure on the core zone of the park. Integrate tourism projects into the overall planning of the national park to ensure that tourism activities are consistent with the goals of biodiversity conservation, environmental protection and sustainable development of the park.

The province needs to soon reposition the Ninh Binh tourism brand.
After merging three provinces into a new administrative entity, Ninh Binh not only has advantages in terms of area and diverse tourism ecosystem, but more importantly, the opportunity to strategically reposition its tourism brand. Previously, Ninh Binh was known for Trang An, Tam Coc or Bai Dinh Pagoda, unique but still unique destinations. Now, when the entire relic complex of Tran Temple-Tam Chuc-Trang An-Bai Dinh is connected in a seamless administrative space, we can completely build a unique cross-regional cultural and spiritual tourism route in Southeast Asia.
To do that, the province needs to soon reposition the Ninh Binh tourism brand not only as a place of "beautiful mountains and rivers" but also as a "cultural and heritage destination of Asia". We must invest more heavily in infrastructure to welcome international visitors, improve the quality of accommodation services, diversify experiences associated with local values, and at the same time upgrade promotion and communication work to the international market in a systematic and long-term manner. In particular, tourism businesses like us are ready to accompany, from improving service quality to participating in tour linkage, destination linkage, and promoting the new Ninh Binh brand.
With a more open space and new vision, I believe Ninh Binh has all the conditions to become one of the world-class tourist centers, where tourists not only visit but also want to come back, explore deeper, and experience more fully.

Developing experiential tourism - a potential direction
All three old areas of the province have many outstanding advantages to develop a type of tourism combining culture-spirituality-craft villages. In particular, Nam Dinh (old) is known as the land where Catholicism was introduced earliest in Vietnam, so it concentrates a number of the largest Catholic church complexes in the country, with hundreds of ancient churches of unique architectural and artistic value. In addition, there are also traditional handicraft villages with a rich cultural heritage such as Co Chat silk weaving village, Vi Khe ornamental flower growing village, Binh Minh mother-of-pearl inlaid wooden furniture craft village... creating very attractive cultural connection points.
In the old Ha Nam area, the system of large churches such as Phu Ly Church, along with famous craft villages such as Doi Tam drum village, Thanh Ha embroidery village, Quyet Thanh pottery village..., are "destinations" for sightseeing and experience with cultural depth, suitable for developing tours with the theme "A day living with memories of the countryside".
In addition to its rich ecological landscape and natural beauty, the old Ninh Binh area also has unique religious structures such as Phat Diem Stone Church - a unique architecture, harmoniously and delicately combining Western church architecture with traditional Eastern temple architecture. Linking this destination with craft villages such as Ninh Van stone carving village, Kim Son sedge village, Phuc Loc carpentry village, etc. will create more profound experience value, especially for international tourists who love cultural exchange.
If invested in the right direction, it will be possible to form a tour “Journey through the cathedrals - Memories of the craft villages in the Red River Delta” - a unique tourism product, bearing the province’s own mark. This is also an opportunity to contribute to preserving the cultural identity and developing sustainable tourism for Ninh Binh province in the future.

Wish there were more deals for low season tourist destinations
In the summer, tourists often choose beach destinations such as Ha Long, Phu Quoc, Sam Son, Da Nang, Nha Trang, or go to cool climates such as Da Lat... But there are also some families, including my family, who like to travel "off-season", to famous temples, pagodas, and spiritual tourist areas. Because, at the beginning of the year, these places are often too crowded, tourists have to endure the crowding, are tired, and cannot see the scenery... but in the summer, these places are less crowded, the trees are green, the scenery is quiet, tourists can comfortably worship and relax. In addition, some travel companies this season also have many incentives with tours and routes to spiritual tourist areas and destinations; tourist destinations reduce ticket prices, services... also help attract tourists, stimulate tourism.
I and many others hope that travel agencies and management boards of spiritual tourist sites in the province will have more attractive incentives and discount programs during the off-peak period; innovate tourism management and organization; take measures to prevent negative phenomena that affect the image and value of tourist sites... If we can do that, the number of tourists to these attractions will certainly increase.

Hope tourism will have new development when connecting regions
I am Nguyen Thi Lien, living in the area of Hai Ly Ruined Church, Con town (old). Before, I worked in the salt industry - a traditional profession in this coastal area. But for more than ten years now, when Hai Ly Ruined Church has been known by many domestic and foreign tourists as a testament to climate change and they come to visit and study, many people around here have also switched to service jobs: opening seafood shops, restaurants providing food services for guests, working as tour guides... and earning better than their old jobs. Therefore, I also boldly switched to grocery and fast food businesses serving visitors to increase my income.
When merging the three provinces of Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh into Ninh Binh province, I hope this will be an opportunity for local tourism to develop more systematically and professionally. I have had the opportunity to travel to Trang An, Tam Coc of old Ninh Binh; Tam Chuc Pagoda in Ha Nam; every year I go to Phu Day festival, Tran Temple of Nam Dinh - all of those places are only a few dozen kilometers apart. The time to visit each place is quite short, visitors also spend little, so the revenue from tourism services is not much. Now, when the three provinces are merged into one, I hope the tourism industry of the new Ninh Binh province will build tours connecting the coastal points of Hai Hau-Kim Son-Giao Thuy with spiritual and ecological tours in the limestone mountains.
As a citizen, I hope tourism will become a key economic sector, creating sustainable livelihoods for people in landscape areas like ours. The great work has been initially successful, our people believe in the leadership of the Party and the government, believe that Ninh Binh province will rise to become a bright spot of tourism in the Red River Delta region.
