Providing rice to 6 localities to support people during the crop gap period in 2023

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has just signed Decision No. 1049/QD-TTg dated September 13, 2023 to provide rice from the national reserve to 6 localities to support people during the 2023 crop gap period.

Specifically, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to issue 3,308.61 tons of rice from the national reserve without charge to 6 provinces: Lai Chau 471.975 tons; Dien Bien 824.775 tons; Ha Giang 386.16 tons; Bac Kan 106.935 tons; Dak Lak 585.6 tons; Cao Bang 933.165 tons to support people during the 2023 crop-splitting period.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to handle specific tasks according to regulations; and be responsible for information and reported data.

The People's Committees of 6 provinces: Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Bac Kan, Dak Lak and Cao Bang are responsible for the accuracy of the reported data and provide timely support, to the right subjects, and at the right rates according to regulations.
