The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry announced the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) for university admission and college admission for the full-time preschooleducation program in 2025.
This floor score is applied to all admission methods for candidates in region 3, without priority based on subject.

For the admission method using high school academic results (report cards), the score of each subject used in the admission combination is the average score of 4 semesters of the 11th and 12th grade years (from semester 1 of grade 11 to semester 2 of grade 12), rounded to 2 decimal places.
With the method of considering the capacity assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, the floor score is from 601/1,200, applied to all majors, except teacher training majors.
For the Agricultural Technical Pedagogy major, in addition to the requirement for competency assessment scores, candidates need to meet additional conditions: good academic results for the entire 12th grade year (academic performance ranked from excellent or higher) or high school graduation score from 8 or higher.
For the Preschool Education sector, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry does not use the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam results for admission.

In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry will enroll 4,560 full-time undergraduate and college students in Early Childhood Education for its main campuses in Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Lai Branch (Gia Lai province) and Ninh Thuan Branch (Khanh Hoa province).
The school uses 5 admission methods:
- Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission;
- Method 2: Admission based on the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025;
- Method 3: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025;
- Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, adding or replacing a subject in the admission combination with high school academic results (transcript);
- Method 5: Admission based on high school academic results (transcript).
