Accordingly, the most severely punished unit in this period is Huong Thao Pharmaceutical Trading Company Limited (158/B26 Phan Anh, Tan Thoi Hoa Ward, Tan Phu District) with a fine of up to 105 million VND. The violations committed by this company include:

Expanding the drug storage warehouse without the drug and drug ingredient wholesaler reporting the change with the corresponding technical documents as prescribed by law; Not keeping documents and papers related to the drug batch for the required retention period as prescribed by law; Purchasing drugs from a facility that does not have a certificate of eligibility for pharmaceutical business.

The second unit in this round of handling violations is Ta Minh Quang Import-Export Production Trading Company Limited (15 Road 3C, An Lac A Ward, Binh Tan District) with a fine of 70 million VND. The violation of this company was due to the production of cosmetics that did not meet quality standards (Avocado facial mask cosmetic product, brand ALYNA, Batch number: 21FM01, product declaration number 001068/CBMP-HCM). In addition to the administrative fine, this company was also forced to recall and destroy all cosmetic products.

The company that produces avocado facial masks has just been fined by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health .

It is worth mentioning that in December 2020, the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health fined Ta Minh Quang Company 70 million VND, forcing the destruction of manufactured cosmetics (containing banned substances used in cosmetics, or exceeding the permitted limit...). On December 6, the Department of Drug Administration ( Ministry of Health ) also announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the above product batch.

Also during this period, some pharmacies were also punished by the Department of Health Inspectorate such as:

Pharmacy No. 17 (166 Hoa Hung, Ward 13, District 10) was fined VND58 million for the following violations: Failure to make periodic and ad hoc reports as required by competent state agencies as prescribed by law; Persons directly involved in retailing drugs do not have professional qualifications as prescribed by law; Storing and retailing drugs not within the scope stated in the certificate of eligibility for pharmaceutical business; Selling prescription drugs without a prescription...

Duoc Linh Pharmacy (27 Street No. 14, Ward 8, Go Vap District) was fined VND 8.8 million for the following violations: The person in charge of the pharmacy's professional activities was absent during the pharmacy's operating hours; There was no separate area for non-medicinal products in cases where there was additional business in functional foods as prescribed by law; Trading in goods (medicines) of unknown origin.

One of the pharmacies has just been fined by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health Inspectorate.

Pharmacy 41 (166 National Highway 13, Hiep Binh Chanh Ward, Thu Duc City) was fined 31.3 million VND for the following violations: The person in charge of the pharmacy's professional activities was absent during the pharmacy's operating hours; Failure to comply with regulations on good practices for pharmacy retail establishments; Mixing non-medicinal products with drugs in cases where there is additional business in cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment as prescribed by law; Trading in goods (medicines) of unknown origin.
