Tanks and military equipment show off their power on the streets of the capital

On the afternoon of August 27, a convoy of armored vehicles lined up through the streets of Hanoi, heading toward the assembly point, preparing for the State-level preliminary rehearsal. A large number of people in the capital took to the streets, waiting for hours to witness and capture the moment the convoy passed by.

On the afternoon of August 27, on Yen Phu Street ( Hanoi ), the sound of wheels and iron chains echoed as the formation of tanks and heavy equipment entered. The "giant steel machines" followed each other back to the assembly point, walking among the "forest of flags" and amidst the cheers and encouragement of the people on both sides of the road.

The convoy of tanks moved under the guidance of security forces into Ba Dinh Square, preparing for the parade rehearsal.

To encourage the spirit of the marching troops, people present on the routes of the tank convoys and heavy equipment together sang the song "Forever the marching song" with lyrics such as: "Forever our hearts will sing the soldier's song/Forever our hearts will still sing the marching song".

In the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, in addition to 26 walking blocks and 11 standing blocks, there were also 6 military artillery blocks. The vehicles mobilized were all modern weapons. In the photo is a T54B tank with serial number 548, which has been upgraded with a 100 mm rifled gun, a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun, a 7.62 mm PKT gun and a crew of 4, increasing its power on the battlefield.

Electronic warfare vehicles were researched and produced by the Electronic Warfare Department (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army) in coordination with Viettel Group. ID-1 multi-purpose reconnaissance vehicles with modern equipment to detect and monitor chemical, biological, radioactive, and nuclear agents early and from a distance; SKID, T-14D, KTH-20, TDT-09, TMVA-17 decontamination vehicles manufactured and imported by Vietnam, using environmentally friendly chemicals to disinfect, decontaminate, and sterilize terrain, weapons, equipment, and people.
