During 2 days (July 28-29), Kon Plong Commune Party Committee solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030. Attending the congress were 130 party members representing 678 party members in the entire commune Party Committee. Kon Plong commune was established on the basis of merging three communes: Ngok Tem, Hieu and Po E. During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Kon Plong commune Party Committee has strived to overcome many difficulties and challenges and achieved important results in all fields.
The total production value in the commune reached 2,831 billion VND. The economic structure has shifted positively, with agriculture, forestry and fishery accounting for 7.6%; industry and construction accounting for 90.7%; trade and services accounting for 1.7%. The targets on per capita income and budget revenue in the area have basically met and exceeded the resolution.
The quality of education has had many positive changes. Primary health care for the people has been widely and effectively implemented. Cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities have had clear changes. The movement "All people build a cultural life" is increasingly becoming more substantial. The political security situation and social order and safety in the area are always maintained.
During the 2025 - 2030 term, Kon Plong Commune Party Committee strives to recruit 110 or more new party members; annually, over 90% of grassroots party organizations and party members are evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well or better. Striving for an average income per capita of over 70 million VND; state budget revenue in the area of over 669 billion VND; building Kon Plong Commune to meet advanced rural standards, with at least 8 villages meeting model new rural standards.
By 2030, we strive to form a specialized coffee growing area of 500 hectares, tea growing area of 500 hectares, fruit growing area of 400 hectares; attract investment in a 50-hectare industrial cluster; high-value aquaculture area of 26 hectares; maintain forest cover of 83%. Reduce the poverty rate to below 7%.
Strive to attract 1 million tourists by 2030, build 3 to 5 community cultural tourism villages and 3 to 5 eco -tourism spots. Build a strong commune in terms of national defense; 100% of residential areas, agencies, and schools meet safety standards for security and order.

Speaking at the congress, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee Lu Ngoc Binh acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the commune in the past term as well as the preparation of documents and the organization of the congress in the context of the commune still facing many difficulties. In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Kon Plong Commune Party Committee needs to promote the potential and advantages of climate and land for economic development because most of the commune's area is located in the planning area for the development of Mang Den Tourist Area approved by the Prime Minister.
Focus on forming specialized production areas for crops and livestock with high economic value, associated with building production and consumption chains of agricultural products, connecting supply and demand, promoting products to ensure output for products. Promote the development of models of farms, mixed economic farms, forest economy, and ecotourism.
Pay attention to attracting businesses to invest in agricultural production. There should be solutions to strictly manage the area of natural forests and protective forests, focus on improving productivity, quality and effectively exploiting planted forests, effectively promoting the potential and advantages of forest resources combined with tourism. Preserve and promote the unique cultural values of ethnic minorities and natural ecological conditions to gradually develop strongly in ecotourism and community tourism.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Kon Plong Commune Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 31 comrades. Comrade Le Duc Tin was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Kon Plong Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
