
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 2622/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing an exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The exhibition aims to affirm the stature, historical significance and brilliant milestones of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); the reasons for victory and lessons learned; the creative application of the lessons of the August Revolution in the struggle for national liberation and national reunification as well as in the cause of national construction, development and defense.
At the same time, the exhibition also promotes the achievements in building a socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam of the people, by the people, for the people; highlights the great victories and achievements of the country over the past eight decades, especially after nearly 40 years of implementing the national renewal policy initiated and led by the Party, and highlights the great contributions and contributions of the entire Party, people and army in the struggle for national liberation and reunification as well as in the cause of building, developing and defending the Fatherland.
Thereby, the exhibition aims to encourage, motivate, inspire, and arouse pride in cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life to strive and make efforts to overcome difficulties, successfully complete political goals and tasks, compete to achieve achievements to celebrate major national holidays, and be determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The exhibition is expected to display 100 to 150 large-scale propaganda paintings at Ho Chi Minh Square, Nghe An province in August 2025.
