On July 31, a delegation of the Central Youth Union led by Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Youth Union and President of the Central Vietnam Youth Union, inspected youth volunteer teams supporting construction in Dai Dinh commune, Phu Tho province.
Also attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union, Head of the Youth and Children's Affairs Department, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Mr. Bui Duc Giang - Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Thai Son - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Dai Dinh commune said that the commune was merged from two units (Bo Ly commune and Dai Dinh town), currently has a large natural area, with 21,000 people, of which 32% are ethnic minorities.
In recent times, the commune has focused on perfecting the new administrative apparatus and urgently participating in project implementation.
According to Mr. Son, the project passes through the commune with 12 pole foundation locations. Up to now, the government has completed handing over the entire site of these 12 locations to the investor for construction and the electric poles "are standing tall in the area".
Regarding the corridor, out of 17 households that must be relocated and resettled, 4 households have not agreed and have some demands beyond the regulations.

According to Mr. Son, the locality continues to propagate and mobilize the remaining households to agree to relocate and resettle; at the same time, it commits to focus all resources to completely resolve and hand over the entire clean site to the investor before August 10, ensuring the overall progress of this national key project.
Mr. Vu Viet Dai - Secretary of Dai Dinh Commune Youth Union said that up to now, the Commune Youth Union has deployed a team of young volunteers to support the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen power line project with four campaigns. The volunteers have actively supported people in moving their assets, trees and crops to clear the land.

Focus on the last 15 days
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam said that the participation in supporting the construction of the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project took place with a very short time requirement and in the context of many changes and challenges after the merger of administrative boundaries.
"Conditions are now very different. After the merger, an area is twice as large as before but there is only one commune Youth Union secretary. The work requirements are very large and urgent," Mr. Lam analyzed.
According to Mr. Lam, there is not much time left and requires a more urgent and effective working attitude. “We must determine with each other a highly focused mindset in the last 15 days to complete this extremely important task together on the most meaningful occasion, August 19,” Mr. Lam emphasized.

To ensure the project's construction progress, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam requested that the provincial Youth Union assign a permanent member to directly take charge, monitor and coordinate.
This coordination does not stop at the level but must work directly with local Party committees to mobilize combined strength, while ensuring that the tasks of the Union are prioritized and given maximum support.
Mr. Lam also requested that information reporting and management work should be more regular, faster and more timely; and that field inspection and supervision should be strengthened.
At the meeting, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and especially the Youth Union of Dai Dinh commune in effectively implementing the work after the administrative boundary merger.
The Lao Cai-Vinh Yen 500kV Transmission Line Project is one of the national key projects. The project has a total investment of 7,410 billion VND, the total length of the line is 229.5km, passing through 2 provinces of Lao Cai and Phu Tho with a total of 31 communes.
