>>> Video of White Pheasant Breeding Area in Bach Ma National Park
Mr. Nguyen Vu Linh, Director of Bach Ma National Park, said that the Center was established in 2015 and is currently raising 14 white pheasants and 2 yellow-cheeked peacocks. Since 2022, the unit has bred 20 white pheasants and 4 peacocks. It is expected that in the next 2 years, some individuals will be released, aiming to restore the white pheasant population in the wild.

In addition to the task of rescuing and preserving biodiversity, the Center also studies the biological and reproductive characteristics of rare animals and plants; conserves valuable tree genetic resources; provides seeds for afforestation; implements research, veterinary, training, and care consulting services; builds and manages projects to improve livelihoods for buffer zone communities.
