Having just developed AI, BKAV Pro has to extend bond debt by 1 year

BKAV Antivirus Software JSC (BKAV Pro) has just announced that it has been approved by bondholders to extend the term of bond lot BKPCB2124001 by 1 year with an interest rate of 11%/year.

Specifically, the bond lot BKPCB2124001 has 6.1 million BKAV Pro shares as collateral. These shares are owned by the parent company BKAV JSC and the entire capital contribution of Mr. Nguyen Tu Quang at Vietnam Digital Transformation Platform Company Limited (DXP).

The bond lot was issued by BKAV Pro in May 2021 in a private form. The company raised 170 billion VND with an interest rate of 10.5%/year. Proceeds from the bond lot were used to develop AI View cameras, invest in digital transformation and partly to develop Bphone lines.

The bond debt extension move comes as BKAV has just announced the launch of BkavGPT, a smart digital assistant based on Generative AI. According to Mr. Nguyen Tu Quang, BKAV has applied GPT to increase the effectiveness of blocking spam messages on phones.

In addition, BKAV also develops AI for application in cattle farming, forest fire prevention, and construction monitoring. BKAV CEO also confidently asserts that Vietnam can reach the world level in AI, especially in "applied AI".

According to BKAV, BkavGPT will not serve end users but will focus on the Government and businesses. The initial main purpose is to increase the ability to manage and look up documents.
