Vietjet orders 20 A330neo aircraft, promoting economic cooperation between Vietnam - France and Europe

DNVN - Vietjet and Airbus have signed an agreement to purchase 20 new A330neo wide-body aircraft, contributing to promoting economic cooperation between Vietnam and France. The agreement was signed in the presence of Vietnamese President Luong Cuong and French President Emmanuel Macron during the visit of the French Head of State to Vietnam.

This long-term order brings the total number of A330neo widebody aircraft ordered to 40, supporting Vietjet’s ongoing international expansion plans, allowing the airline to add more flights on high-demand routes across the Asia- Pacific region, as well as launch new long-haul routes to Europe in the future.


Vietjet's Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao and Airbus International Chairman Wouter van Wersch signed an agreement to purchase 20 A330-900 (A330neo) wide-body aircraft in the presence of President Luong Cuong and French President Emmanuel Macron.


Since the establishment of bilateral relations, Vietnam and France have always made their mark in trade relations with impressive figures. In particular, the long-term strategic partnership between Vietjet and Airbus has contributed to trade turnover, promoted tourism and joint investment between the two countries, and created more jobs for the French people. This is also a concrete step demonstrating the airline's commitment to long-term investment, sustainable development and contributing to economic , cultural and tourism connections between Vietnam and international partners.
