(Chinhphu.vn) - The Traffic Police Department - Ministry of Public Security said it will completely resolve the backlog of cases related to testing and issuing and exchanging driving licenses before July 30, 2025.

Mobilize maximum number of officers and examiners to focus on issuing, exchanging and testing driving licenses for people.

The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security has just directed the Traffic Police Departments of provinces and cities to concentrate and mobilize maximum officers and examiners to focus on the work of issuing, exchanging and testing driving licenses for people, ensuring to completely resolve the backlog in driving testing.

For localities lacking examiners, the Traffic Police Department will increase examiners from the Department or other localities to ensure work requirements.

The Traffic Police Department also set a deadline for localities to complete before July 30, 2025.

Candidates who have met the exam requirements should contact the center where they study or the local Traffic Police Department where they reside or work to get the exam schedule and arrange a time to take the exam.

The Ministry of Public Security has received data on more than 60.5 million driving licenses, and has also edited and upgraded the software for testing and issuing driving licenses. The VNeID application has integrated 43 utilities, including nearly 19 million electronic driving licenses and about 7 million vehicle registration certificates.
