Vietjet announces first direct flight between Vietnam and Hiroshima

The Hanoi - Hiroshima route will start serving passengers from July 19, 2023 with 2 round trips per week on Wednesdays and Sundays. Flight time for each leg is approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. The flight departs from Noi Bai Airport at 2:15 a.m. and lands at Hiroshima Airport at 8:45 a.m. (local time). The return flight departs at 9:45 a.m. in Hiroshima (local time) and lands in Hanoi at 12:35 p.m.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture, Mr. Masahiko Tanabe shared: “Hiroshima Prefecture and Hiroshima International Airport are working together to expand the prefecture’s flight network. I am very excited about the newly announced route, which is the first route connecting the Chugoku and Shikoku regions with Vietnam. With Vietjet ’s new direct routes, traveling between Hiroshima and Vietnam will become more convenient than ever and I expect more active cooperation in many areas, including business, trade and tourism.”

Passengers on direct flights between Hanoi and Hiroshima with Vietjet will experience a modern fleet, hot, fresh dishes served by a friendly, professional crew, and Vietjet's attentive and dedicated service. The airline currently has direct flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and many flights to Niigata, Shizuoka, Fukushima...

Hiroshima is located in the southwest of Japan, strategically located connecting the Kansai and Kyushu regions of Japan, with a developed marine economy and heavy industry, a symbol of strong growth after the world war. Hiroshima owns many attractions recognized by UNESCO as world heritage sites such as Itsukushima Shrine with the Torii gate floating on the sea, the peace memorial, Hiroshima Castle... and attractive local cuisine.
