At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Anh Tu - Vice President of VFF sent his thanks to Coach Mai Duc Chung. During his time as Head Coach of the Vietnam Women's Football Team, Mr. Mai Duc Chung and his students won 6/8 SEA Games gold medals and especially brought the women's team to the 2023 World Cup Finals. These are achievements that are difficult to surpass.
Even in difficult circumstances such as when the team competed in the Asian Women's Finals, almost the entire squad was infected with Covid-19, the teachers and students still tried their best to win tickets to the 2023 World Cup Finals.
Former head coach of the Vietnamese women's team, Mr. Mai Duc Chung, could not hide his emotion when attending the gratitude meeting organized by VFF.
Coach Mai Duc Chung sent his thanks to the leaders of the sports industry and the Vietnam Football Federation for always trusting him to lead the women's team.
