The second match of U18 Vietnam in the international friendly tournament Seoul Cup 2023 is the match against U18 Ukraine. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan made some adjustments in personnel when players such as Le Dinh Long Vu, Le Huynh Trieu or Nguyen Huu Tuan sat on the bench.
In goal, Pham Dinh Hai is the main goalkeeper. Center back Le Nguyen Hoang is given the captain's armband, the midfield is led by Nguyen Cong Phuong. Meanwhile, striker Dinh Quang Kiet with his impressive height is expected to make a difference for U18 Vietnam.

In the second half, coach Hoang Anh Tuan continued to ask his players to play proactively and look for opportunities to score against their opponents. In the 55th minute, Hoang Minh Tien's accurate shot once again helped U18 Vietnam take the lead.
In the remaining time, U18 Ukraine did not accept the defeat, they pushed up the formation and got the equalizer 2-2. In the final minutes of the match, the European representative scored the goal to seal the match 3-2 with a tricky long-range shot. In this match, the scorers for U18 Ukraine were Dmytrii (2 goals) and Panchenko (1 goal).
In the final match, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will meet U18 Korea on the afternoon of October 15.
