North-South Expressway section across Gianh River. The North-South Expressway section through the northern part of Quang Tri province has two construction packages: Vung Ang - Bung (about 12km in Ha Tinh province) and Bung - Van Ninh, with a total investment of more than 20,000 billion VND.
This highway passes through many hills and mountains, creating majestic yet poetic scenery.
The most impressive is the bridge over Gianh River, nearly 3km long, the longest bridge on the North-South Expressway through Quang Tri province. The bridge is designed to be 17.5m wide, has 4 lanes and an investment of more than 1,000 billion VND, located in Ba Don ward and Nam Gianh commune.
Standing on the bridge looking downstream of Gianh River, the villages are peaceful and prosperous.
