TUY HOA: Mobilizing nearly 1.5 billion VND for the Fund for the Poor

On June 24, news from the Tuy Hoa City Fatherland Front Committee said that in the first 6 months of 2025, the City Fatherland Front Committee effectively carried out campaigns, patriotic emulation movements, activities for the poor and social security work, thereby providing timely support to help people gradually stabilize their lives.

Of which, the result of mobilizing nearly 1.5 billion VND into the City's Fund for the Poor, reaching 91.81% of the assigned target. From the Fund for the Poor and other support sources, the Fatherland Front at all levels and member organizations have presented 19,599 gifts with a total amount of nearly 8.7 billion VND to policy beneficiaries, meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households, households with sudden difficulties, encouraging poor students to overcome difficulties in studying and training... contributing to the goal of poverty reduction, ensuring social security, building a prosperous and happy life for the people.

In the first 6 months of the year, the work of social supervision and criticism was also paid attention to and effectively implemented by the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city. The work of grasping the situation, aspirations of the people and religious organizations, and prominent prestigious people in the community was carried out regularly, opinions and recommendations were resolved promptly, creating consensus in the city.
