Taking her child to Dien Hong Park, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy in Ward 2 reminisced: I miss Tuy Hoa, I miss the pigeons in the middle of the city. In the past, every morning I took my child here to play simply so that he had space and time to immerse himself in nature. But now, when I am about to say goodbye to Tuy Hoa, I suddenly find those moments so precious and worth cherishing. "I wrap up the memories of Tuy Hoa in my memory, and later tell my children and grandchildren that this land used to be called Tuy Hoa City," Ms. Thuy was moved.

Nguyen Van Muoi will not forget Tuy Hoa beach where every morning he and his friends, neighbors and colleagues meet to cycle around the city and swim in the sea. Mr. Muoi confided: My group of 10 people going cycling to the beach, 8 of them will move with their families and work to the new administrative center of the province. Although we know that change for development is inevitable and over time neighbors will have new neighbors with new friends, this moment is still lingering. We went to places in the city that have a strong Tuy Hoa atmosphere associated with the phrase Tuy Hoa City.

The name Tuy Hoa City was officially born in 2005 in Decree 03/2005/ND-CP of the Government on the establishment of Tuy Hoa City. Over the past 20 years, the development space of Tuy Hoa urban area has been expanding day by day. According to the People's Committee of Tuy Hoa City, from a town to a city, the area of ​​Tuy Hoa has been expanded from 6,436ha to 10,682ha. Up to now, the approved planning adjustment has increased the area to 17,436ha. Tuy Hoa has changed from being just a small urban area with a few main roads and bustling areas mainly concentrated on Tran Hung Dao, Le Loi, Nguyen Hue streets... Now, in addition to the city center, the development area of ​​Tuy Hoa inner city has opened up to the sea area, becoming the center of sea tourism development of the whole province.

Tuy Hoa city will no longer exist, but the development space will still exist there, attached to 3 wards: Phu Yen ward, Tuy Hoa ward, Binh Kien ward...
