Based on the characteristics of the area, subjects, and educational and training tasks, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the 34th Corps Military School have led and directed the implementation of many policies and measures, and diversified ways of conducting the struggle to refute wrong viewpoints, orient ideology and public opinion, and criticize deviant manifestations; including many breakthrough and creative solutions, making the struggle increasingly deeper and more solid.
Cadres, students, staff and soldiers are "immune" to negative impacts from distorted and reactionary arguments; are sensitive and sharp in identifying and flexibly applying forms of struggle to refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints; strictly comply with regulations on the use of information technology, ensure information security, and not reveal or leak military secrets.

One of the outstanding activities of the school is that the staff and lecturers actively participate in writing articles, sharing and propagating about the revolutionary and scientific nature of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought; the nature, tradition, functions and tasks of the Army, the Corps and the school; at the same time, fighting and exposing tricks and distorted arguments on cyberspace, especially tricks using artificial intelligence (AI) to cut and paste and post false news, or taking advantage of images of soldiers to call for sales, gifts and posting fake news on social networks... contributing to maintaining the noble image of Uncle Ho's soldiers.
In reality, hostile and reactionary forces continue to promote the strategy of “peaceful evolution”, using cyberspace as the main tool to spread wrong views, distort the Party’s policies and guidelines, and deny the Party’s “absolute, direct leadership in all aspects” over the Vietnam People’s Army. They often use AI technology to create videos with images and words that incite internal division, impact ideology and awareness, and erode the trust of cadres, soldiers and people.

In some grassroots units, besides soldiers with strong political will, there is still a small number of young officers and soldiers who, due to lack of experience, knowledge and skills in identifying bad and toxic information, have shown deviant behaviors such as: Receiving and sharing unverified information; making inappropriate statements; posting personal images and unit activities that are not in accordance with regulations...
Meanwhile, reactionary elements thoroughly exploit the difficulties and obstacles in the lives and work of cadres and soldiers to exaggerate, stereotype, and distort the nature of the incident, thereby spreading skepticism and dissatisfaction in the unit. Some comrades show wavering thoughts in the face of difficulties, a decline in their will to train and responsibility for their work, affecting the quality of the unit's overall task completion.
Recently, the exploitation of the image of soldier Le Hoang Hiep (Division 9, Corps 34) for advertising, receiving gifts and posting false information on social networks is a typical example. Soldier Le Hoang Hiep is known by his comrades, people, and the online community and became famous "involuntarily" from beautiful images recorded by people and posted on social networks with the spirit of discipline, methods, serious and standard manners of Uncle Ho's soldiers, no less youthful and dynamic in performing the task of marching and parading. This brings about a positive social effect, creating trust and affection among the masses, contributing to building a beautiful image of revolutionary soldiers in the Vietnam People's Army.
However, besides the positive aspects, some bad guys have taken advantage of this fame to distort and illegally use images for personal and business purposes, even affecting the reputation and honor of Comrade Hiep and the image of the Vietnam People's Army. This is a clear proof that bad guys are constantly looking for ways to exploit and take advantage of cyberspace to spread false information, disrupt public opinion, and damage the tradition and noble image of our Army...

From that reality, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school have strengthened leadership in implementing propaganda work to raise awareness and responsibility for cadres, students and soldiers to maintain the qualities and beauty of soldiers, typical of Uncle Ho's soldiers. Promote the role of Party committees, commanders at all levels and political agencies in the fight against the wrong views of hostile forces, and orienting ideology and public opinion.
Party committees at all levels concretize policies and propose leadership measures that are consistent with the functions, tasks and characteristics of the unit; taking the effectiveness of the fight against terrorism as one of the criteria for evaluating the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations and the level and capacity of organization and practical direction of leading cadres at all levels.

In reality, whether the sabotage strategy of hostile forces can achieve its goals or not depends largely on the political capacity, understanding and "resistance" of each cadre, party member and the masses against the "matrix" of true and false information, mixed with right and wrong. Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the school determined: The education and training process not only trains the personality, equips knowledge, skills and expertise for students but also fosters and improves "resistance" and "immunity" against the plots and sabotage tricks of hostile forces.
To do this, the school promotes political and ideological education, raising the level of political awareness, vigilance, and determination of all soldiers; in which, it focuses on educating the core issues of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought, and the Party's policies and guidelines, as a basis for building firm belief and enhancing the ability to fight against erroneous and hostile views and ideologies.

Closely combine “building” and “fighting”, taking the building of a cultural environment, participating in healthy social networks to enhance the “resistance” of soldiers against extremely sophisticated and insidious sabotage tricks on the ideological and cultural front. Combine training to improve fighting capacity with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, training revolutionary qualities and ethics for cadres, lecturers, students, staff and soldiers.
The school regularly organizes training courses, invites experienced experts to train and guide cadres and soldiers on the content, methods and forms of fighting against "peaceful evolution". Each agency and unit under the school organizes regular training in fighting skills, at least once a quarter, directly conducted by the Party Committee Secretary and political commissar. This is one of the effective measures that the school has been and continues to promote, aiming to continuously improve the ability to identify false and hostile arguments and the ability to fight effectively for the troops.

Along with the above solutions, the school Promote proactiveness, do a good job of protecting internal politics, do not reveal or leak military secrets; thoroughly and strictly comply with regulations on information confidentiality and speech discipline. Promote the responsibility of all individuals and organizations, create a combined strength in the fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, build agencies and units that are strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres, create a "firewall" to prevent and repel negative arguments, be immune to incitement and distortion, and contribute to the successful completion of all assigned tasks.
