Huong Khe Medical Center has just held a ceremony to announce the implementation of electronic medical records. Leaders of the Department of Health, Provincial Police, and Provincial Social Insurance attended the ceremony.

Through the assessment of the professional sector, Huong Khe Medical Center has fully met the criteria for information technology infrastructure, electronic medical record management software, medical information security and implementation organization. In particular, the center has coordinated with service providers to connect with 4 key software including: HIS, LIS, RIS-PACS and EMR, thereby completely closing the process from reception, information management, medical history, test results, image storage and transmission system for patients in the electronic environment, replacing paper medical records.

With electronic medical records, healthcare professionals can execute medical orders on smartphones.

The implementation of electronic medical records not only helps to reform administrative procedures but also shortens waiting times, increases accuracy in treatment and patient monitoring. This is a solution to help standardize processes, save operating costs, and at the same time increase people's satisfaction.

Up to now, in the province, there have been 4 units announced to deploy electronic medical records including Hong Linh Medical Center, Ha Tinh Eye Hospital, Huong Khe Medical Center and TTH Ha Tinh General Hospital. Ha Tinh Health Department is resolutely deploying so that hospitals/medical centers with beds can implement electronic medical records before September 30.
