The Ministry of Public Security Headquarters, 96 Nguyen Du, Hanoi, is a key project, typical of the process of modernizing facilities in the spirit of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW on "promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation".

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), on the morning of August 16, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held the inauguration ceremony of the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters, No. 96 Nguyen Du, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi City.

The Ministry of Public Security was honored to welcome Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, to attend the ceremony.

The project to build the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters at 96 Nguyen Du, Hanoi is a key project, typical of the process of modernizing the facilities of the Ministry of Public Security in the spirit of Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo; the foundation was laid by Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam from the first steps and throughout the implementation process.

Construction started in December 2023. The project is equipped with synchronous, advanced and modern equipment, fully meeting the needs of the Ministry of Public Security's activities.

With the effort and determination to complete the project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces, the Project Management Board and the construction contractor organized a competition to work continuously for 200 days and nights, minimizing the construction time.

Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc reported on the project implementation process.

Reporting on the implementation of the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters Project, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, said: On May 16, 2023, the Prime Minister signed the Decision on investment policy for the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters, 44 Yet Kieu. On June 15, 2023, the Minister of Public Security approved the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters Project, 44 Yet Kieu.

"After more than 19 months of construction, the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters at 96 Nguyen Du, Hanoi was inaugurated, Hanoi has another beautiful architectural work, representing the new era of development of the country," Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc emphasized.

According to Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc, the construction of the Ministry of Public Security headquarters is the aspiration and dream of many generations of Ministers of Public Security. This is thanks to the determination and strong direction of General Secretary To Lam, the close direction of Minister Luong Tam Quang, the attention and direction of the leaders of the Party, State, and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the close coordination of departments, ministries, and branches, and the unconditional support of the Hanoi People's Committee... Along with that is the coordination and tireless efforts of the Project Management Board, the construction contractor, the design consultant, the supervision consultant, the appraisal unit...

General Luong Tam Quang presented gifts to units that have cooperated and supported the Ministry of Public Security in implementing investment and construction.

At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam, Minister Luong Tam Quang and other leaders and former leaders of the Party and State cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters at 96 Nguyen Du and planted souvenir trees in the headquarters grounds.

On this occasion, Minister of Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang presented gifts to representatives of units that have cooperated and supported the Ministry of Public Security in implementing the investment and construction of the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters. Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc presented gifts to units directly involved in implementing the Project.
