On this occasion, 10 disadvantaged households working in the economic defense project area of Regiment 726 were awarded funding to support the construction of "Comrades' Houses".
The total budget to support the families is 600 million VND, drawn from the Ministry of National Defense 's budget. In addition, the families also received material and human resources support from officers, soldiers, and employees of Regiment 726 during the house construction process.
The construction of "Comrades' Houses" is a major policy of the Party, State and army, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, comradeship, and the tradition and good qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" towards cadres, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, Regiment 726 coordinated with the People's Committees of Quang Truc and Tuy Duc communes to organize a meeting and hand over support funds for the 2025-2026 school year to students under the Project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school".
At the program, representatives of the Corps and Regiment leaders presented funding to support 32 children, including the cost of adoption at home of 2.3 million VND/child/month; the cost of nurturing support is 1.1 million VND/child/month.
The total cost of support and adoption is 335.8 million VND. The students supported and adopted are ethnic minorities with difficult circumstances and good academic achievements in Quang Truc and Tuy Duc communes.
