The theme "Sharp pen, loyal heart" includes three contents: "In prison", "Sharp pen, loyal heart", and "Connecting love".

In the first content, the Organizing Committee introduced images of some prisons that the enemy used to detain Vietnamese patriots and revolutionaries such as Hoa Lo Prison, Con Dao Prison, Big Prison in Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City), Chin Ham Prison...

In the second content - "Sharp pen, red heart", the Organizing Committee introduces the lives and careers of 10 patriotic and revolutionary soldiers who used their pens to reflect the reality of life, the cruelty of the prison regime and their passionate patriotism. Notable among them are the lives and careers of: Culturalist and journalist Nguyen An Ninh (1900-1943) with his poems full of fighting spirit at Saigon Central Prison and Con Dao Prison; the story of comrade Nguyen Duc Canh (1908-1932), who wrote patriotic poems right before his death; or the story of the poems of comrade Hoang Van Thu (1909-1944) encouraging comrades in prison...

The third part "Connecting Love" tells the story of the fierce war years, the letters and poems are not only a source of spiritual strength to help soldiers overcome difficulties and hardships, but also a testament to optimism and strong will.

Nowadays, even in the age of advanced technology, soldiers working on the border and islands always cherish each letter and poem sent from the home front. Those lines are not only messages from relatives and friends, but also a bridge connecting hearts, adding faith and strength to the front lines.

At the opening ceremony, in addition to the exhibition content, there was a scene recreating the story of comrade Pham Huong, a Youth Union cadre in charge of the Hanoi student resistance movement who was arrested and imprisoned at Hoa Lo in 1949-1950. The audience was moved by the tearful reunion between comrade Pham Huong and his fellow prisoners, and the emotional moment of meeting his relatives during a short visit before being exiled to Con Dao.

The exhibition runs until August 31, 2025 at Hoa Lo Prison Historical Site.
