Exhibition of national achievements attracts nearly 4 million visitors

During the first 6 days of the National Achievements Exhibition (from August 28 to September 2), the National Exhibition and Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) welcomed nearly 4 million visitors - a record number never seen before at any Exhibition in Vietnam.

According to information from the Press Department - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in recent days, the number of visitors to the exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" at the National Exhibition Center continued to increase sharply and broke the record.

From more than 230,000 visitors on the opening day (August 28), nearly 300,000 visitors on August 29 and more than 650,000 visitors on August 30, the National Exhibition and Fair Center welcomed about 800,000 visitors on August 31 and about 900,000 visitors on September 2.

The exhibition space "95 years of the Party Flag lighting the way" within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition attracted many people to visit and experience.

In particular, on the peak day (September 1), more than 1 million people came to visit and experience activities within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition, bringing the total number of visitors to nearly 4 million to date.

This is a record number never recorded at any Exhibition before in Vietnam.

To ensure convenience for residents and visitors to the Exhibition, the Organizing Committee has deployed 20 additional bus routes, connecting to the National Exhibition Center; 2 free internal tram routes; 925 indoor and outdoor toilets, with separate areas for the disabled...

The food court is scientifically arranged with 2 outdoor areas in the North and West courtyards (114 kiosks), 4 indoor areas in the halls on the 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 7th floors of Kim Quy building and many additional kiosks. In addition, there are 12 information counters, a system of signboards placed throughout the campus, a free information handbook (online version available) and a digital map Digimap to support positioning and convenient directions when moving within the area.

On average, each day at the National Achievement Exhibition, there are about 100 events and experiential activities for visitors. Highlights include high-altitude fireworks displays (August 28, September 2 and September 5), robot performances, culinary demonstrations, hot air balloon performances, artistic kite flying, traditional handicraft performances, special art performances, seminars and talks in many fields...

In response to the great public interest and strong ripple effect of the Exhibition, the Prime Minister issued Official Dispatch No. 155/CD-TTg dated September 2, 2025 on extending the duration of the Exhibition on 80 Years of National Achievements until September 15, 2025.

The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries, branches, localities, organizations, agencies and units to carefully review and prepare necessary conditions to organize exhibition activities and related events, ensuring quality, efficiency, security, safety, environmental sanitation, creating favorable conditions for people, organizations and individuals to visit and experience activities and events at the Exhibition and in accordance with legal regulations.
