According to MB, Trent Alexander-Arnold received a warning from President Florentino Perez: " Either you perform really well, or Dani Carvajal will still be the main player".

That message also requires Dani Carvajal to be highly determined if he still wants to keep his position, like before he had a long injury and had just returned.
