Award ceremony of the 10th National Open Orchid Competition and Exhibition in Can Tho City

(CTO)- On August 30 and 31, at Queen Plaza Restaurant, Cai Khe Ward, Can Tho City, the 10th National Open Orchid Competition and Exhibition in 2025 took place, organized by the Can Tho City Ornamental Plants Association in coordination with the Can Tho Orchid Club.

Visitors enjoy the works at the competition.

Over 50 orchid associations and clubs, along with many gardeners, artisans and orchid lovers from all over the country, brought over 500 works: mixed orchids, slipper orchids, striped leaf orchids, cattleya, flash dendrobium... to participate in the contest and display at the event.

Orchid works won Gold, Silver, Bronze awards.

The Jury scored and awarded 8 Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Encouragement prizes to outstanding works in various categories.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee auctioned many rare and valuable orchid works, contributing funds to the contest.

The Organizing Committee awarded Gold prizes to artisans at the competition.

Professor, Dr. Le Van Hoa, Chairman of the Ornamental Plants Association of Can Tho City, Head of the Organizing Committee, said: The contest is held annually to create conditions for exchange and sharing of experiences between artisans and orchid garden owners in and outside Can Tho City; contributing to improving the quality of planting, caring for and enjoying orchids, developing urban agriculture and eco-tourism. At the same time, creating a place for people to have fun and enjoy on the occasion of National Day September 2.
