The hospital has invested in and successfully developed many specialized rehabilitation techniques that previously patients had to be transferred to the Central level to access, such as: Correction of congenital clubfoot using the Ponsetti method; manufacturing and installation of above-knee and below-knee prostheses along with assistive devices, orthopedic braces; speech therapy and treatment for autistic children and post-traumatic patients; application of specialized electrotherapy techniques such as shock waves, whole-body magnetic fields, and non-invasive endovascular lasers.
