Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association celebrates 80th National Day September 2

On the morning of August 31, at Kim Binh Guest House, the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the province held a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and summarize the Association's work in 2025.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs; the Internal Political Protection Department of the Provincial Police ; Tan Trao University; the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and many members.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the heroic history of the nation, the great achievements in 80 years of building and defending the Fatherland, emphasizing the spirit of solidarity and the great sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers; at the same time, affirming the close friendship between Vietnam and Thailand in many fields, contributing to promoting cooperation and people-to-people exchange between the two countries.

In 2025, the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the province focused on strengthening the organization, developing members, mobilizing overseas Vietnamese to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws and policies; organizing many exchange activities, visiting and giving gifts to members in difficult circumstances and policy families; actively participating in major local events.

In the coming time, the Association sets out the key directions of promoting the spirit of solidarity and attachment of overseas Vietnamese to their homeland; stepping up people-to-people diplomacy, enhancing friendly exchanges with the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association; organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Thailand diplomatic relations (August 6, 1976 - August 6, 2026); mobilizing the strict implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, actively participating in socio-economic development, contributing to building Tuyen Quang increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.

The ceremony took place in a solemn and warm atmosphere with special performances, expressing national pride and expectations for the sustainable development of the Vietnam - Thailand friendship.
