TPO - The Meteorological Agency forecasts that in July, Ho Chi Minh City will have many widespread rains with moderate, heavy, and very heavy rains appearing in some places, with a high possibility of falling in the first and last weeks of the month. It is forecasted that in the first 10 days of July, the Southern region will be mainly affected by the southern edge of the low pressure trough at about 24-27 degrees North latitude connecting with the hot low pressure area in the west, which tends to gradually weaken. The Southwest monsoon in the region is generally of medium intensity. The subtropical high pressure has a common axis at about 25-30 degrees North latitude, and is quite active.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the first 10 days of the month will have heavy rain, from scattered to many places, some places will have moderate rain, heavy rain. Beware of tornadoes, gusts of wind, lightning strikes during thunderstorms. Beware of heavy rain that can cause flooding in the city center. The average temperature is 0.2-0.4 degrees Celsius higher than the average for the same period. Total weekly rainfall is approximately equal to or higher than the average, commonly in the range of 80-150mm.
