Tay Ninh City: Many practical and meaningful activities in school Youth Union and Pioneer work

In the 2024-2025 school year, with the theme "City Children - Obey Uncle Ho's teachings - Be proud of tradition - Follow in the footsteps of their ancestors", the City Youth Union and its affiliated Youth Unions have synchronously deployed many practical and meaningful activities, contributing to building a comprehensive, humane and lovingeducational environment for team members, teenagers and children.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee commended the collectives with outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and School Pioneers.

In the past school year, the City Council of Young Pioneers continued to flexibly and deeply implement the propaganda and education of revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle, and life skills for children. Exciting emulation movements such as: Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings, thousands of good deeds, practicing life skills, educating ethics, lifestyle, protecting children's rights, etc. have become bright spots in the journey of caring for and nurturing the young generation of the City.

The movement of Vietnamese children studying well and practicing diligently is materialized through training programs, life skills, moral education, life ideals and exchange sessions to honor good students. The small-scale plan movement continues to be effectively implemented in conjunction with education on compassion and thrift with more than 30 young projects implemented. Career orientation for secondary school students is also promoted.

In addition, the Youth Union and School Teams organize creative experiential activities such as: Experiential recess, Stem Club, and scientific creativity which are strongly developed in many schools. The work of equipping digital skills and guiding children to use the internet safely continues to receive attention. Foreign language activities are also focused on through activities such as: English Club, English Festival, English Olympic Competition... attracting a large number of students to participate.

Life skills education, building beautiful friendships, and preventing school violence were promoted with nearly 200 seminars, forums, and thematic activities, attracting more than 1,200 students to participate; 14 life skills training classes were organized for more than 1,251 children; more than 30 cultural, artistic, sports , and skill clubs were regularly maintained at schools, helping students develop comprehensively.

The work of organizing and building a strong team has achieved many clear results. In the 2024-2025 school year, the whole city recruited 25,769 new team members and trained and admitted 3,499 outstanding team members to the Youth Union.

Mr. Le Tan Phat - Secretary of Tay Ninh City Youth Union commended individuals with achievements in school Youth Union and Pioneer work.

In addition, the coordination between the Youth Union, the Young Pioneers with the education sector and related units has been strengthened to ensure children's rights, especially in preventing abuse, school violence, mental health care and drowning prevention. The work of reviewing and supporting students at risk of dropping out of school has been focused on, contributing to ensuring children's right to education. During the Month of Action for Children, the Young Pioneers mobilized more than 50 million VND to organize many meaningful programs for children.

On this occasion, the City People's Committee awarded 10 collectives and 19 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and the School Pioneers. The City Pioneers Council awarded 13 students with achievements in the City Youth Informatics Contest and 6 collectives that won prizes in the "Our Team's Imprint" Contest; commended 47 exemplary Youth Union cadres and teachers who were Team Leaders and cadres in charge of children in the 2024-2025 school year.
